Island Salad with Crab

Take your guests on a journey to the Caribbean with this fresh, light and very easy to prepare salad recipe!

Ingredients

1 150g can of crab meat (legs and pieces)
One pink grapefruit
2 avocados
1 red onion (or 2 small green onions)
Espelette pepper

Preparation before cooking

  • M-60 : Peel the grapefruits. Separate the segments by running the blade of a serrated knife between the thin membranes that separate them. Then cut the grapefruit segments into pieces and place them in a salad bowl.
    Peel and roughly chop the onions. Crumble the crab meat. Add the chopped onion and crab meat to the salad bowl.
    (You can add small pink shrimps)
    Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and chili pepper. Mix gently and refrigerate.
  • M-5 : Before serving, cut the avocados in half, removing the pits, and peel them. Cut the flesh into small cubes and add to the salad bowl. Mix gently and serve.

Option

You can replace crab with lobster !
